Workshop: Copyright and Licenses

Copyright and licenses more often than not cause confusion among researchers as they try to publish their data or journal articles. CC BY-SA? Or CC BY-NC-ND? You have probably seen these abbre­viations before, but what do they mean? Which license is in line with Open Science? Which license should you choose? How can a work be used if there is no license attached to it? And what is the difference between a license and copyright? Moreover, what does copyleft mean and which one is the corresponding license? This workshop offers some guidance to answer these questions.
