Introduction to Research Data Management
Lecture by René Schneider
The so-called replication crisis is often regarded as one of the biggest challenges facing the sciences nowadays. Scientists will be asked more and more to record the results of their research in such a way that they can be reproduced at any time after the completion of a research project. The talk will present the extent to which research data management and Open Access can act as fundamental pillars for eliminating the replication crisis and the how far the reproducibility of research results is similar to the well-known journey between Scylla and Charybdis.
